NATO FACES PROTEST FROM MUSLIMS
ISLAMABAD: Activists of different organizations held a protest rally against the NATO strikes in Mohmand agency in which at least 24 Pakistani soldiers were killed.
A large number of activists of traders unions, lawyers, CDA Labour Union, National Press Club and Newspaper Hawkers Unions in the auspicious of Joint Action Committee (JAC) participated in the rally which started from Islamabad Stock Exchange and ended at American Embassy here on Thursday.
They were holding placards and raised slogans against NATO and US forces whom they described as violator of Pakistan's sovereignty.
Addressing the rally speakers strongly condemned the NATO attack on Pakistan and urged the government to vacate Shamsi air base being used by US forces with in the given deadline. (PPI)
